Heather has more than 18 years' experience as a writer, editor and marketing communications specialist for companies and clients across Canada. She knows how to take plans from a page and action them into results that matter. 

 

She has worked as an account manager, public affairs consultant and copywriter for award-winning agencies in Halifax and Saint John. Heather has also provided public relations and marketing counsel, art direction, vendor management, investor relations support and event management expertise for international corporations, ICT companies, media startups and non-profit groups. 

 

Heather has sector experience in publishing, media, information technology, tourism and hospitality, economic development and advocacy. 

 

She has written communications plans, content marketing strategies, annual reports, feature articles, scripts, storyboards, social posts and everything in between. With a fastidious attention to detail, she weaves stories that resonate and her job isn’t done until her clients are delighted by the deliverables. 

 

Heather holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University, a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King's College and a Master of Publishing from Simon Fraser University.
