Kelsey Seymour (she/her)
Kelsey Seymour is a marketing communications professional with a passion for building strategy, creating content, helping others and achieving results. She specializes in digital marketing, strategic communications planning, public relations, corporate social responsibility and writing, with 10 years of sector experience in non-profits, higher education, IT and government.
In Vancouver, Kelsey worked with Mitacs, the Shareholder Association for Research and Education, and in IT communications and change management at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine.
In 2013, she returned home to New Brunswick and joined the University of New Brunswick’s Communications team, specializing in media relations, storytelling, strategic communications planning and public relations.
She helped establish the university’s award-winning marketing team, playing a lead role in the revitalization of UNB’s brand positioning and marketing strategy. As Digital Marketing Manager, Kelsey modernized and elevated UNB’s corporate online presence, established social media guidelines, enterprise web strategies and training programs. She also led several multi-year, multi-channel, integrated advertising and recruitment campaigns.
Kelsey’s big-picture, data-driven mindset is complemented by her collaborative approach and creative talents. Her creative vision, direction and leadership have won her teams numerous awards for digital annual reports, websites, videos and social media ads.
Kelsey is PROSCI change management certified and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick.
