Laura is a research and communications professional with a background spanning both academia and the non-profit sector. She brings analytical insight, curiosity and a commitment to best practices to every project she undertakes. She excels at transforming complex information into accessible and engaging materials, and is experienced in methods such as matrix mapping and quantitative data analysis.

Before joining CCGoodwin, Laura served as Director of Program Design and Development at Sophia Recovery Centre, a non-profit addiction recovery centre for women and families. She prioritized a consultative and collaborative approach to her work, ensuring that the unique voices and needs of women in recovery were at the forefront of program design. Her focus on defining and measuring program impact helped secure federal funding to expand and sustain program reach. Previously, Laura held a research role at CIRA / Centre for Innovation and Research in Aging, and worked as a content creator and podcast editor with the Decision Lab.

Laura's method is grounded in research and shaped by a strong focus on clarity, purpose and measurable outcomes. By leveraging her psychology background, she excels at identifying underlying motivations and behaviours behind the challenges stakeholders face, allowing her to develop impactful, person-centered solutions.

When Laura is not knee-deep in data analysis, she is behind the camera lens art directing and creating high-quality, timeless images that reflect each client's unique story and vision.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mount Allison University, a Master of Science in Psychology from Western University and an in-progress Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is based in Hampton, New Brunswick.
